So, I have a trio of creations – in fact, a Trio of Thanks – to share with you today for the Hop – let’s check them out shall we?
Love love LOVE!! I am so happy with this little set of mini cards!
I just love using the same basic colours and techniques when it comes to a card set – really allows you to have a cohesive theme whilst each card can still have its own individuality and shine! I started with a Pure White card base for each, and then set about tying my basic theme together!
For the first card I stamped the outline flower and solid dot centres from Flower Power #5, and the mini outline butterfly from English Country Garden – Butterflies using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder.
I then added some watercolouring, using my WPlus9 inks in Sweet Gelato and Wild Mango before stamping the sentiment from Paradise – Hummingbird using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Love this delicate look!
For my second card I went bold and graphic, creating the background by repeatedly stamping the outline circle from Classic Alphabet.
I heat embossing the sentiment from Wet Paint for a wonderfully chic look! Very stationery!
For the final card I heat embossed that gorgeous hummingbird and added some liberal splashes of watercolour
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Flower Power #5.
So are you ready to hop?! The DT has put on an amazing spread of creations and you simply must check them out!! Make sure you also head back to the Uniko blog where Bev is doing the full reveal of all the products in this month’s release – you definitely want to see these beauties in their entirety!! And just as a reminder – all products from this release are now available at Uniko Studio – so run, don’t walk! – over there to fill your baskets and own these sets for yourself!! – Make sure you comment on each of the blogs on your travels – there’s an *awesome* prize giveaway in it for you!! *wink*
