I’m back today to welcome to Day 3 of the Newton’s Nook April Release!
We have THREE *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
This month we have some really fun cute images that you’re sure to love! Today sees the final reveal of our sets with Winston and his rabbit friend back in a garden setting – Garden Whimsy!
Here’s what I came up with:
Oh Winston, poor Winston. I can’t seem to do anything but make cards with him in hapless situations. It must be his face!
I started with a panel of Stamper’s Select White cardstock and stamped Winston and the flowerpots using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I wiped a little of the ink from the top of Winston’s head before stamping so I could stamp the flower pot on his head!
I coloured my images with Copics, then trimmed and adhered all my elements to my card base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I kept the rest plain and simple with my stamping, adding no colouring so it sort of resembles those cartoons where only the subject is coloured so it grabs attention – hopefully you know what I mean! I find it hilarious how Winston can’t figure out where his flower has gone and why he’s watering the wrong pot!!
All the Newtonians (that’s what I’ve decided to call us, hehe!) are blog hopping today! Please be sure to join us and hop along and comment on each of the team’s creations! Read on because there’s a prize up for grabs!
Would you like to win Garden Whimsy?
