Today we’re having some extra fun over at Uniko Studio as we revisit an awesome older set for an awesome blog hop! This month it’s the turn of Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum! This set brings back fond memories for me – it was one of the sets I played with when I had a Guest DT spot for Uniko, back before Bev brought me on board full time!!
This set features the most gorgeous outline and solid floral stamps, and great sentiments too! Such a great staple to have in your collection. You’ll see just how versatile it is over the course of this hop!
Here’s what I came up with:
What do you think? I really love how it turned out! I was dying to create a modern, colour-block-style card, so I hope you brought your sunglasses, lol!
I started with a Pure White card base and stamped the outline stamps repeatedly using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then flipped the stamp over and dabbed with Hero Arts Paint Daubers in Neon Pink and Neon Yellow and overstamped, not taking too much care to overlap the outlines precisely.
I needed a nice modern sentiment so I reached for my Neat & Tangled Across The Card set and stamped that to complete the card!
