Uniko Studio June 2014 Release – Introducing Flower Power #5

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Today is the third day of Introductory posts for the Uniko Studio release!! Woo hoo!!

This month’s release is definitely chock-full of awesomeness and versatility!! Today I’m excited to introduce the latest in the Flower Power series – Flower Power #5!

This beautiful set has an awesome set of two-step stamps to create gorgeous blooms – and polka dot leaves too!! All this and a continuation of versatile sentiments in the same font as the rest of the sets in the series for perfect mix-‘n’-match possibilities!!

Here’s what I came up with:

What do you think?! I love how this turned out!!!

I started by stamping my flowers all over my Pure White card base using Versafine Onyx Black ink for the outlines and stems/leaves, and a whole range of inks for the blooms! I used SU! ink in Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz, Mama Elephant ink in Sunshine, Papertrey ink in Rapberry Fizz and Chai, Simon Says Stamp ink in Sea Glass, and WPlus9 inks in Bloomsberry and Lake House. Phew!

I added a little Distress Marker in Spiced Marmalade to the yellow blooms, then stamped my sentiments from Papertrey’s Wet Paint and Wet Paint II stamp sets and I was all done!

Wondering what inspired this design? I may have just sneaked you a peek at the latest Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge which is starting in a few hours… ! *wink*

So what do you think? Are you loving so far?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!

I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope to see you again tomorrow for the next day of the release!!

  1. Your 'patterned paper' is absolutely lovely, sprinkled with colourful, happy-making FP #5 flowers. Mega-watt smile as I admire this….
