Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!

Today is the second day of Introductory posts for the Uniko Studio release!! Woo hoo!!

This month’s release is definitely chock-full of awesomeness and versatility!! Today I’m so excited to help get introduce a set that I just know you are going to fall completely in love with – English Country Garden: Butterflies!

This beautiful set contains several detailed butterfly images and a solid butterfly too – perfect for those who like to colour and those who shy away from it too! This set is a great one to use with multiple techniques!!

Here’s what I came up with:

What do you think?! I love how this turned out!!!

I started by stamping the large butterfly several times onto my Pure White card base using Versamark ink then heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder.

I watercoloured my butterflies using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw, also using Tumbled Glass for the background. So soft and pretty!

I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I may have just sneaked you a look at another new set here! *wink* I ironed off my embossing powder to complete this soft pretty card and I was all done!!

So what do you think? Are you loving so far?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!

I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope to see you again tomorrow for the next day of the release!!

  2. What an amazing card. So lovely and elegant. Soft, feminine and just darn pretty. These butterfly stamps appear to be really intricate adding to the delicacy of you card. The iron-off technique is perfect for this look.
