Background Builders: Round In Circles Revisited Blog Hop

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

Today we’re having some extra fun over at Uniko Studio as we revisit an awesome older set for an awesome blog hop! This month it’s the turn of Background Builders: Round In Circles! This set brings back fond memories for me – it was one of the sets I played with when I had a Guest DT spot for Uniko, back before Bev brought me on board full time!!

This set is so versatile and such a great staple to have in your collection. You’ll see just how versatile it is over the course of this hop!

Here’s what I came up with:

What do you think? I really love how it turned out! I haven’t created a nautical card in forever and I think that was making me antsy, lol!

I started with a  Pure White card base and stamped the striped circle image repeatedly using WPlus9 ink in Nautical Navy and SU! ink in Real Red, then added the star from the sentiment in All Occasion Sentiments #2 using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Feeling that this still needed a little extra something, I reached for my Mama Elephant Inline Letters set to add a nautical greeting and I was all done!

So in case you are new to the Revisited Blog Hop then it couldn’t be simpler! You have until 23:59 UK time on Wednesday 14th May (18:59 EST) to leave comments on the Design Team’s posts to be in with a chance of winning this set!! And believe me, even with no prize on offer you would want to comment anyway – their projects are *amazing*!!

Well that’s it from me for today, but I will be back soon with something new! I do hope you will leave some love before you head on your way though! Thanks so much for stopping by!
