Today I’m sharing a card for the latest Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge – woo!!
Today’s challenge is an Anything Goes challenge, which is as the name suggests – use any Paper Smooches stamps and/or dies in your creation!
Here’s what I came up with:
I wanted to just create freely with this week’s card and see where that took me. I had a ton of fun embellishing to my heart’s content and I *love* the results!
I started with a Pure White card base and adhered patterned papers from the Studio Calico Atlantic collection, adding a strip of washi tape for contrast between the two patterns.
I splattered a little Mister Huey’s in Inky Black onto the paper and then adhered some May Arts twine which was threaded with sequins from the Studio Calico Colour Theory line as well as some free sequins from Winnie & Walter.
I added a square of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine collection which was die cut using the Polaroid Frame die. I stamped one of the kittys from Nine Lives onto Pure White cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then created a mask so I could stamp his tongue with one of the stamps from Fascinators using Studio Calico Colour Theory ink in Blush Crush. I trimmed him out then adhered him to some more patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine collection before trimming again to give a patterned border before adhering him to the square using Pinflair Glue Gel.
Finally I added some stars from Freckled Fawn and a Studio Calico speech bubble wood veneer which I stamped with a sentiment from Word Salad and I was all done! I love this card!!

Absolutely gorgeous combination of elements and color! I LOVE the sequined tendrils and pop of pattern. Miss Kitty is so sweet with her patterned paper border. It's an awesome card thru and thru!

Oh my word … you are committed! I am wildly impressed that you fussy cut that kitty twice, and the second time on a subtle paper so you don't really realize it until you're in close. You are the best with details like that!! Awesome party card.
OHHHHHHHHHHHH! This is fabulous, Taheerah! I LOVE how you made a star banner! I LOVE the sequins and the papers– LOVE LOVE LOVE that white kitty! I just made two cards with a white owl and Trav couldn't believe it! He said it's not my style— LOL! Now I can tell him that you and I have great minds and like to use white for our animals:) LOOOOOOOOVE everything about this card! YOU ROCK <3
