I’m back today to welcome to Day 3 of the Newton’s Nook April Release!

We have three *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!

Today’s set is the final one of the release and is so super-cute! Wild Child features some some of the most adorable mother-baby combos of wild animals and some great companion sentiments!! Seriously the cuteness is in overdrive here!!

I almost could not choose which animals to ink up first! I eventually settled on the giraffe and created this:

*squeal* How adorable is this?!

I started by stamping the the giraffes onto the adorable Simple Stories Baby Steps patterned paper collection. I wanted a patchwork look without the fuss. 🙂 Seriously the cutest thing ever!! I also stamped the grass two and trimmed both out carefully. I used my Uni-ball Signo White Pen to colour in the markings on the giraffes. Too cute!!

I decided to create a cute tag so pulled out my new Tag Sale #10 die and die cut the tag from Rustic White cardstock then impressed the inner frame into it as well. I adhered my grass and giraffes using Pinflair Glue Gel then added a stamped sentiment from the same patterned paper collection too!

I threaded through some May Arts Natural Twine then threaded through some sequins from Studio Calico and Winnie & Walter before tying the ends. I just love this fun finishing detail!
