It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *gorgeous* inspiration image for this challenge:
This outfit screams attitude to me, so awesome!
AND it’s an extra-special challenge this time round as we are teaming up with another challenge blog – CAS(E) This Sketch!!
Here are our two elements combined!
A match made in Heaven right?! So awesome!
I was really drawn to the pattern on the shorts, as well as the bold, bright flowers of course. Here’s what I came up with:
Attitude, right?! I love this so much!!
I started with a Pure White card base and masked off the circular arc, then used my new Papertrey Wet Paint set to stamp all the words and the heart using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Looks just like patterned paper!
I then recalled that I had the most awesome chipboard flowers from BasicGrey that I have been hoarding for YEARS! It was finally time to break them out! I adhered them to the base with Pinflair Glue Gel for some variation in depth off the base.
I stamped the sentiment from Wet Paint onto a strip of cardstock using Versamark ink then heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder, then rubbed SU! inks in Crisp Cantaloupe and Melon Mambo to add the colour. I trimmed out, slicked on some Glossy Accents to make it look like a label maker sentiment, then adhered with Pinflair and added a variety of enamel dots to finish!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!

I love the layout of this card and the Papertrey ink background is ideal! To be honest I'm not so keen on the outfit though!
