Hey everyone!
I’m back today to welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook April Release!
We have three *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
Today’s set is probably my favourite of this release! Versatile Vases features an assortment of vases and other containers to house the pretty flowers that are also included – along with some great sentiments too!
I fell completely in love with the mason jar stamp at first sight and I just knew I wanted to feature it! Here’s what I came up with:
*squeal* I am so in love with how this turned out! It’s my favourite project of the release!
I started by stamping the little jar repeatedly onto my Pure White card base using Papertrey ink in Soft Stone. I stamped the stamp off first so that I could keep the ink very light.
I then used my Distress Markers to watercolour the jars, using a mix of water and Perfect Pearls for a little sheen! I had so much fun making these look like realistic jars!
I stamped and watercoloured some of the jars separately, stamping them with part of the sentiment from Love à La Carte in the same colours as the jars themselves. I then trimmed them out, inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed twice with WOW! Clear Gloss embossing powder. I brushed them with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen for some extra shimmer too! I adhered them in place using Pinflair Glue Gel and added some free sequins I got from Winnie & Walter and I was all done!
