It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:
That lilac has to be my favourite colour ever!! And check out all that gorgeous rhinestone work!!
Here’s what I came up with:
Hmm, meh. I’m not entirely happy with how this turned out, but I was tight for time so I guess i’ll have to do!
I started by stamping my Pure White card base with one of the square diamonds from The Ton’s Princess Cut Diamonds set. This series creates the most realistic diamond images, and I sadly really didn’t do it justice here, thanks to the choice to heat emboss it with iridescent glitter embossing powder. Oh well.
I blended Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender over the base then brushed it with water mixed with a little Perfect Pearls. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Waltzingmouse Stamps Dream Bigger set and then overstamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink to complete the look!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
