I’m back today to welcome to Day 1 of the Newton’s Nook January Release!
We have TWO *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
This month it’s all about lurve! Today’s set kicks us off with a fun critters set with a love theme –Â Zoo Be Mine!!
I decided to focus on the animal print hearts in the set. Here’s what I came up with:Â
What do you think? I love how this turned out!!Â
I started with a piece of Pure White cardstock and stamped the reverse of the hearts using (L-R) Palette Haystack ink, Versafine Onyx Black ink and a mix of SU! inks in Strawberry Slush and Blushing Bride. Next I stamped the fronts of the images using (L-R) Mama Elephant ink in Hazel, Versamark ink (then heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder), and Versafine. I trimmed out all my hearts and adhered to my base using Pinflair Glue Gel and I was all done!
