Uniko Studio August 2014 Release – Introducing Flower Power #6

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

Today is the second day of Introductory posts for the Uniko Studio release!! Woo hoo!!

Apologies for not bringing you something for Day 1. It appears I’m losing my marbles and my ability to tell the date these days. 🙁

This month’s release is definitely chock-full of awesomeness and versatility!! Today I’m excited to introduce the latest in the Flower Power series – Flower Power #6!

This beautiful set has an awesome set of two-step stamps to create gorgeous blooms – and the leaves this month are among my favourites!! All this and a continuation of versatile sentiments in the same font as the rest of the sets in the series for perfect mix-‘n’-match possibilities!!

Here’s what I came up with:

What do you think?! I love how cute this turned out!!!

I started by stamping the leaves into a butterfly arrangement using Mama Elephant inks in Blush, Bubblegum and Sunshine! I love how the leaves made for perfect butterfly wings! I then trimmed my butterfly out and tied some May Arts Metallic Silver String round it for the body and antennae!

I stamped my Pure White card base with the solid sequins from A Gift For You using the same colours plus Hero Arts Silver ink, which I also used for the sentiment before adhering my butterfly in place using Pinflair Glue Gel! I added some clear Wink of Stella to the sequin stamping for some glitz too!

So what do you think? Are you loving so far?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!

I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope to see you again tomorrow for the next day of the release!!
