Neat & Tangled May 2014 Release – Introducing So Very Blessed

Hey everyone! Welcome back!

So it’s time for some more from the Neat & Tangled May Release! We have *four* awesome sets being released this month!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!

Today I’m helping to introduce a new set called So Very Blessed. The handwritten sentiment sets that Danielle comes out with are always so popular and I know this one will be no exception!!

Here’s what I came up:

I love how this one turned out!! I just had a play and experimented a little with the style and I think the results are pretty cool!

I started by stamping the sentiment onto a trimmed-down journalling card from the Gossamer Blue February 2014 Life Pages kit. I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed with Wow! Opaque Seafoam White embossing powder, before going round the edges of the sentiments with a Distress Marker in Pumice Stone and inking the edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I adhered to a piece of patterned paper from the Studio Calico Marks & Co. Card Kit and adhered all to a Rustic White card base.

Then it was time to play with embellishments! I used various ones from a couple of Freckled Fawn OHDEERME Embellishment Kits, adhering the flowers with Pinflair Glue Gel. I love the little eclectic touches of the clip, the flowers and the thin washi tape peeking through! The finished result has me eager to play with this style again soon!

I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

  1. Awesome style, Taheerah!! The tiny bit of washi peeking through in the corner is so inviting. It's eclectic, yet not busy. OH, and the white text on your black text background … sweet!
