Hey everyone!

I’m back today to welcome to Day 1 of the Newton’s Nook April Release!

We have three *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!

Today’s set is a cute little set featuring images that are perfect for Mother’s Day – Love Grows! The cute little set is another of the brand new 4″x3″ mini sized sets and contains enough images and sentiments to create some adorable cards!!

I really wanted to create something a bit unexpected with this set so here’s what I came up with:

I started by stamping the little heart repeatedly onto my Pure White card base using Studio Calico ink in Blush Crush. Love the generational stamping you can get with this ink!

I then stamped a few of the hearts using Versafine Onyx Black ink and added the sentiment with the same two inks. I used a fine black pen to add the scribble effect to my black elements and a small line of scribbles at the fold and I was all done!
