Rustic Wreath

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!

Mojo hit late on today so I took a long time getting started before I made this card. I finally got to crack open my new WPlus9 Woodland Wreaths set – love! I played around a little and came up with this:

What do you think? I love how this turned out!

I started by die cutting the wreath from Rustic White cardstock using the Woodland Wreaths die, then stamped the full image using Versamark ink before embossing using WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I then blended in some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Hero Arts Silver ink to bring out some definition.

Next I stamped the berries and heat embossed with Ancient Golds Gilded Gold embossing powder. I then gently stamped the branches and the berries again using Hero Arts Gold ink.

Onto the rest of the card now! I trimmed a piece of burlap then coloured it by dabbing with Distress Paint in Picket Fence and Brushed Pewter. Whilst still wet I sprinkled it with Distress Glitter in Pumice Stone – *love* the effect!! I adhered the burlap to my Rustic White card base using Glossy Accents.

To finish up, I adhered my wreath, and one of Lawn Fawn’s Peace Joy Love Adhesive Flairs to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I added some sequins to add some final bling!

Well that’s me for today, but I’ll be back in about 8 hours with a post for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge, so I do hope you’ll join me then! Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you would leave some love before you head on your way!
