Baby Animals On A Line

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!

I’ve been a crafting machine over the last few days and created quite a few different designs based on some of the old Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges! So, just as with yesterday, I’m bringing you one of those cards. 🙂

First, here’s the inspiration photo I used:

Cute! I don’t have a onesie stamp anywhere that I recall (and as I write this, I have just recalled that that is not the case!) but I was inspired by a ‘baby’ theme, and I’m really happy about the results!

What do you think? Cute right?!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and blended in A:Muse ink in Bermuda and Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass. I have been blending with Distress Inks quite a lot recently and now I want them all!! I then stamped the lines from WPlus9’s Heartfelt Mix set using Tumbled Glass ink.

Next I stamped the animals from Mama Elephant’s Nursery Deco set onto Paint The Town Pink cardstock using Raspberry Fizz ink. I trimmed them out and adhered to my base with Pinflair Glue Gel, then stamped the pegs from Heartfelt Mix using New Leaf ink and added those too. The colour was a little pale so I went over it with a Distress Marker in Mowed Lawn.

I wanted to have a tag hanging down from the line so I die cut one from New Leaf cardstock using the Tiny Tags die. I stamped it with a sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Filigree set, a partial sentiment from Nursery Deco, and with the Handle With Care set from Papertrey Ink. Again the ink was too pale so I went over with my Distress Marker, and also added the line freehand. I adhered my tag with Pinflair, added another peg and I was all done!

Well, I’m off to have a lazy Saturday before starting on next week’s cards, lol! What are you up to today?

I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
