Three Fibres, One Heart

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

Christmas Couture is having a short break whilst I wait for some supplies and time to create what’s in my mind, so instead today I have another card inspired by a previous Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge!

Here’s the inspiration photo:

And here’s what I came up with:

What do you think? I do love this one!

I kept this super simple and let it be all about the materials and the colours. No stamps here! I started by trimming a piece of burlap and pouncing my Distress Paint in Antique Linen over it to lighten the colour. I freehand trimmed a heart from a piece of Kraft felt and coloured it with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists in Coral and Georgia Peach.

I adhered the burlap to my Rustic White card base using Glossy Accents, then adhered a length of bundled up gold thread using a few drops too. I secured the bulk of the thread and the heart to the card using Pinflair Glue Gel and that was me all done!

Well I do hope you will join me bright and early tomorrow – the Lil’ Inker Designs November Release is about to start! In the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
