Traffic Signs Tulips!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

Today I’m bringing you a little cutey card I made with the Gel-à-Tins Traffic Signs set!

You’re probably thinking this set would be great for travel themed cards, which it would, but why let that be its only use? I love thinking of outside-the-box ways to use my stamps, and it was while I was playing with this set that I ended up with this:

Cute huh?! I love it when I can do crazy things with my stamps! To me that shield image makes for a really fun whimsical tulip!

I started by stamping the solid shield image using Hero Arts inks in Butter Bar, Tide Pool and Raspberry Jam and Bubblegum. I then overstamped the outline image using Smokey Shadow ink and trimmed them all out. I used one of the tyre track images to stamp the stems using Limeade Ice ink onto my Stamper’s Select White card base before adhering the flower heads with Pinflair Glue Gel to provide a hint of dimension, then added my sentiment from Springtime Doodles and the smiley face from the This Way To Fun mini stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Such a cute, happy card!

Well, I’ve got a whole weekend of crafting ahead of me – my favourite kind! Do you have any plans to get inky? I’m hoping to catch a couple of lie-ins too – been pretty pooped this week from restless sleep! I do hope you have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by here and I do hope you’ll leave some love before you head on you way!
