25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day Eighteen!

By Taheerah | 18th December 2012 | 2 Comments

Hey everyone! I hope you’re not too blinded by yesterday’s card! If you are I’m sure you’ll be pleased to know we’re back to something much calmer today, lol!

So, onto Day 18!

Today’s card is another that features Waltzingmouse Stamps’s Nordic Winter. My I love this set!

Doesn’t it make you feel all warm and cosy?!

I started by stamping the pattern onto Rustic White cardstock using Pure Poppy ink. I then added the sentiment from Christmas Labels using Versafine ink. I can’t remember where the ‘Sending’ stamp comes from though, someone help me out? I’m pretty sure it’s Papertrey. :o) I then ran the panel through my Big Shot with the Linen & Canvas impression plate to get that lovely texture! The whole panel is adhered to a Rustic White card base.

The final touches were die cutting the ‘Joy’ from Pure Poppy cardstock using a Sizzlets die, sprayed with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold spray, then adhering with Pinflair Glue Gel, then adding a little Tiny Tags die cut from Rustic Cream cardstock, stamped with snowflakes from In The Meadow and topped with a sentiment from On Ice. The tag is edged with VintageTouch Tea Dye Duo inks (just like the main panel), then adhered in place and also tied on with twine for a perfect finishing touch!

Thank you so much for stopping by – I hope you’ll be back tomorrow too!
