Pink Frosted Cupcake Card

Just one quick yummy post tonight!

This is a little birthday card I made for my best friend’s birthday. I wanted something girly and cute and so naturally turned to my trusty PTI Cupcake Collection!

I used the outline stamps and stamped directly onto coloured glitter paper in fabulous pale pink and white shades, before mounting onto Lemon Tart card stock which I had die-cut with my Deckled Edge Rectangle Nestabilities. I used the Inkessentials Opaque White Pen to draw on some stitching detail on the embossed border edge.

The card base is PTI Sweet Blush, onto which I mounted a piece of PTI Vintage Cream. I used the largest flourish from the Fancy Flourishes stamp set and Versamark to add a subtle pattern to the Vintage Cream cardstock.

I used a piece of Lemon Tart Polka Dot ribbon across the join and affixed some Sweet Blush Vintage Buttons, along with the cupcake, using Pinflair Glue Gel. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with pastel pink detail embossing powder (though I wish this had turned out better!).

I think the overall effect of the card works well though, and that cupcake is just *so* cute!
