Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!

Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:

 

I love how flowing and elegant this gown is – very fitting for that flock of birds pattern it depicts! Here’s what I came up with:

 

*squeal* Can I just say how much I *love* this?!?! Not just the card, but also how the photographs turned out! So bright and the bokeh looks fantastic!! But. ahem, the card, lol! I was worried about not having the right kind of bird stamp in my collection (pretty shocking given how many stamp sets I actually own… *sheepish)… but I needn’t have worried as I love the end result here!!

I started with a panel of Night Sky Shimmer cardstock and stamped it with the bird from Uniko Studio’s Paradise – Hummingbird stamp set using Versamark ink. I applied Perfect Pearls in Confetti White on it and then trimmed the bird out to leave the negative.

 

I added the little bird images from Mama Elephant’s Sunny Skies set and the sentiment from Everyday Greetings. I then spritzed the whole panel lightly with Mister Huey’s in Calico Shine to set the powder and bring out some more glam!!

 

I tapped my Versamark inkpad over the centre of my Pure White card base and applied Perfect Pearls there too before misting with Mister Huey’s. Finally I adhered my panel to my base using Pinflair Glue Gel. This was the last of my glue gel in my current possession and I had a nervous twitch at running out! Thankfully more should be arriving tomorrow I hope! I could not do without this stuff!!

So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
