Thankful Florals

Hey everyone! I can’t believe it’s Monday already! How are you all today?

So we probably all need something to cheer us up from our Monday Blues! How about a birght cheery card?

What do you think? Kinda funky? Definitely bright and cheerful! This was created for a commission where my only brief was ‘appreciation, modern, flowers, girly colours’. Gotta love a bit of creative license!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped half of it with Hero Arts Tiny Ink Spots Background using Versamark ink. I then heat embossed it with WOW! Clear Semi Dull embossing powder.

Then I set to work with all those blooms! These are from Rosie Posie and were stamped with a rainbow of A:Muse inks – Grapfruit, Watermelon, Bermuda, Lime, Papaya, Grape, Heather and Bellini (wow, I memorised that list – how sad!). Where the blooms overlapped the embossing I wiped at the ink with a tissue to reveal the contrast of those dots!

I wanted to finish off with a tag, as if this was a bunch of modern blooms being delivered with a little card. I die cut the tag using the Fillable Frames #9 die, added the pinked edge with the Pinking Shears Borer die, and stamped it with the sentiment from Signature Greetings II using Berry Sorbet ink. I added my tiny dots as before, threaded through some Baker’s Twine and adhered to the base with Pinflair Glue Gel. Done and done!

Well, I guess I better get going for now, but I would love to welcome you back here tomorrow! Did you see yesterday’s announcement? Curiosity piqued? Would you like to know what’s going on? Stay tuned – I will be revealing the details soon! Let me just say… you are gonna love it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I’d love it if you left some love before you got on with your day. 🙂
