Long time no see! I’m so sorry for my blogging absence – but hopefully this will make it up to you! I’m starting a new series of posts from now until Christmas Day, bringing you 25 days of Christmas cards!!
So let’s get started, shall we?
Today’s card is a quick and simple one layer wonder featuring PTI’s Background Basics: Super Stripes. As soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted to make a cute candy cane striped card!
Super sweet. no? I just love this turned out – good enough to eat!!!
I started with a Kraft card base and stamped the stripes using Pure Poppy and Berry Sorbet inks. After this was done I added a couple of strips of Scor Tape on top of a couple of the stripes and coated with Martha Stewart Crystal Fine glitter for a sugary touch.
All that was left was to add a sentiment from Think Big Favourites #21 using Versafine ink, and a few sparkly rhinestones to accent!

Hi T. just getting back into blogland. had to have a lung removed as a cancer tumor was found on it…not even two weeks, but I can sit on the couch and take a look…love that you are back and I love all the 5 cards I have seen so far! You have inspired me!
