25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day Two!

By Taheerah | 2nd December 2012 | 2 Comments

Hey everyone! Welcome back for Day 2 of my Christmas card posts! I hope you’re enjoying the festivities so far!!

So for today’s card I’ve again gone for a one layer wonder – this time featuring Becky Oehler’s Mistletoe  Memories stamp set!! As soon as I saw this set I just had to have it!!

What do you think? Perfect for giving to a loved one this Christmas!

I started with a Rustic Cream card base and stamped the branch in Kraft ink before following up with the leaves in Limeade Ice ink. I’m loving this new colour from PTI!

After this I stamped the berries in Versamark ink before heat embossing with white embossing powder. I then used a cotton bud to rub into my VintageTouch Chamomile ink and then apply to the card to give the berries some definition.

The bow is from PTI’s Boughs and Bells stamp set and stamped with Pure Poppy ink.

All that was left was to add the sentiment from the PTI Mistletoe & Holly stamp set using SU! Soft Suede ink and I was done! The ellipsis was created by stamping just three of the dashes from one of the Mistletoe Memories stamps – I just love it when stamps are versatile!

So are you enjoying these posts? Will be tuning in for tomorrow’s card? I sure hope so! In the meantime I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  1. Lovely, my friend! Love the embossed berries with the tea ink rubbed in — rustic and elegant at the same time! And you can't go wrong with a Becky Oehlers set!
