Hi everyone! Happy Monday!

The latest Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge was one I just couldn’t resist – after all it combined two of my most favourite companies! The challenge was to combine Essentials by Ellen and Pinkfresh Studio products, and I couldn’t wait to get started! I actually made a trio of cards, but decided to tease them out over a few days. *wink*. The first was showcased yesterday here, and today I’m back with my second creation!

So, let’s jump straight into today’s card! I was still in the mood for a Clean And Simple look, but wanted to add some stamping to the mix! Cue the Essentials by Ellen ‘Mondo Hydrangea’ stamp set – the illustrations in this set are just amazing, and work for a variety of occasions!

This card is perfect to encourage a friend or loved one! I love the sentiment!

Thanks to the amazing designs from the Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills Collection this card came together in no time! The watercolour wash-style geometric print on this particular paper added the perfect splash of colour for my bloom without having to colour the bloom itself!

I added a subtle, fine gold splatter onto my card front, and a small amount of pale pink splatter too.  I did a light pink watercolour wash on a small piece of letterpress cardstock using diluted ink from one of my ink pads – I love the look! The sentiment is from the Indigo Hills stamp set and stamped in a navy ink to tie in with the colours from the collection, and that’s pretty much all there was to it!

There’s still a little bit of time left to enter the challenge, so I’ll be back with one more card tomorrow!
