Neat And Tangled May 2016 Release – Introducing Pixelated Faces Dies and Pixelated Sentiments!

By Taheerah | 16th May 2016 | 32 Comments

 Hey everyone! Happy Monday!

I’m so excited about the Neat & Tangled May release! It’s Release Week and this is quite possibly one of the most releases ever!

There’s a huge amount of goodies being released this month and I just *know* you’re going to love it all!!

Today I’m helping to introduce the latest in the Pixelated family of products! You’ve absolutely loved the Pixelated Heart die so you’ll be delighted to hear that there’s now a Pixelated Sentiments stamp set to accompany it! There’s also a new line of dies to create fun emojis – the Pixelated Faces dies are so much fun!

Here’s what I came up with:

Of course with all those dies are meant to create faces, but there’s no reason you can’t think outside the box! I looked at them and thought ‘Tetris’!!

I die cut several of the shapes, and then *lots* of the single squares, lol. I used the shapes to act as ‘bases’ for all the squares and created my Tetris pieces from them! I coloured them all with Copics then I adhered them all in place after working out my formation. Not a single row should be able to disappear! *wink*

I added the sentiment Pixelated Sentiments, heat embossing it with white embossing powder. I had so much fun with this labour of love!

Neat and Tangled Release Week

I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love! There are prizes in it for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

  1. Oh my, such a great card and brilliant idea… not only the pieces but also the sentiment, you rock!
This brings back some memories, back in the 90s I was a Tetris addict. "Oh no!" sounds so familiar… 🙂

  2. I'm new to your blog, & I just have to tell you I love the name! This card is so much fun & reminds me of how much I enjoyed video games as a child of the 80's-90's… & also, it reminds me of how good I was at Tetris! 😀

  3. Your Tetris card is brilliant! You've got me thinking outside the box, too, for other pixelated ideas with this new set. Can't wait to see what else you come up with, for this new release.

  4. Gosh this is cool! I did try a similar card once…but due to lack of supplies it was kind of a fail lol! It was supposed to be a tetris in the shape of a heart!
