Season’s Givings Blog Hop!

Hey everyone! Happy New Year – and welcome! Welcome to the Season’s Givings Blog Hop!

In case you don’t know what the Season’s Givings Blog Hop is, I’ll explain. 🙂

This New Year’s tradition first began three years ago when the fabulously talented Latisha Yoast decided to host a giveaway on her blog as a way of saying thanks to all her blog readers. After speaking with a few friends she realised that this was something a lot of companies and designers alike felt like doing, and so the Season’s Givings Blog Hop was born! Three years on and the tradition is still going strong, with this year’s offering being bigger and better than ever! Trust me – I’ve seen some of the giveaways!!

So, anyways, let’s get the show on the road!

For those of you who’ve never been here before – welcome! I’m Taheerah and I’m an avid stamper and paper crafter. I love playing with stamps and inks and papers and sequins and all kinds of fun stuff! I’m on a few different Design Teams, and I also host my own challenge called Cure For The Monday Blues so you may have seen my work around blogland!

To those of you who have been here before, and/or who are avid followers already, I want to extend a *huge* thank you. You guys keep me blogging even when my energy is lacking, and give me encouragement and make me feel like my work is worthwhile. You are patient with me when I don’t get things 100% right, and you are always there to help me feel special. You guys are awesome and I appreciate you so so much!!

So, we’re all here because we want to win some stuff, right?! Before we get to that, I thought I’d welcome you, and 2015, with this New Year’s card I recently made for Newton’s Nook:

Fun right?! I love the colour combination of black, white and gold!

I love techniques, so I also included die cutting, fussy cutting and heat embossing in this creation!

I’m always trying to bring new and fresh content and work to my blog, and recently I started recording crafting videos too! Here’s a fun Get Well card I recently made and filmed:

And here’s the accompanying video!

So I hope you see there’s a reason to keep coming back here, even after the giveaway. *wink* I’d love you to subscribe to my YouTube Channel, or to follow me on any or all of my social media (links are in my sidebar, underneath my photo! 🙂 or you can find me here on FB, Twitter, Pinterest, BlogLovin, Feedly, Instagram, Flickr or e-mail!). And if you’d like to see some of my work then the easiest way is to keep scrolling, or to look at my Pinterest board here!

If you already follow my blog by any of the above channels you can have an extra entry to the giveaway and leave a second comment! If you subscribe to my YouTube Channel as well you can leave another comment too! That’s up to three chances to win!!

Right, I’ve held you hostage for long enough, lol! I know you’re all here to win a bunch of goodies, and here’s what I’m giving away as a part of this Hop!

Yummy yummy Blog Candy!! There’s a whole bunch of goodies here (including a Limited Edition Anniversary Set from Papertrey Ink which cannot be found on sale), and it’s easily at least a $100 value! AND I’m probably going to keep adding to this package over the course of the following week, so you definitely want to enter my giveaway!!

I’ll be keeping this giveaway going until 00:00EST/05:00GMT on January 8th (my birthday!) so you have until then to leave me a comment and tell me one thing you’re looking forward to in 2015, or to say something nice about my work! REMEMBER: if you already follow my blog by any of the channels mentioned earlier in this post you can have an extra entry to the giveaway and leave a second comment! If you subscribe to my YouTube Channel you can leave another comment too! That’s up to three chances to win!!

I’ll draw a winner on the 8th, and I’ll send the package worldwide by the end of the month! 🙂

There’s a *huge* list of companies and designers taking part in this Hop – and every single stop has a giveaway!! I hope you’ll take the time to visit them and enter and leave them some love too! 🙂 A *huge* thank you to Latisha for organising this Hop – having organised massive hops myself I know how much work is involved! *wink*

Thank you so much for stopping by – and please come again soon!

  2. Happy New Year, Taheerah! Once again, your cards dazzle with delight! Your creativity with any product and any technique truly is awe inspiring; the best part: you share your gifts so readily with all of us. On many occasions, you've fanned the flames of my creativity simply by showcasing a new image, or a new way (to me, anyway) to present it. Your talents are remarkable! On Dec. 20th, my dad suffered a cardiac arrest and God welcomed him 'home' on Dec. 30th, the 56th anniversary of my parents' marriage. My wish for 2015 is that my entire family, but especially my mom, find ways heal, and find joy in the loving memories we have of my day. Your posts, just so you know, have been lifting my spirits immensely!

  3. Gracious, that band-aid card is too stinkin' cute. I'll have to watch the video later, but I do admire it. As for what I'm looking forward to for 2015. . .just the possibilities that a new year holds!
    Thanks for the opportunity!!

  4. I absolutely love your new year card! It's so well done and is exactly the style I love and am drawn to!
I'm looking forward to learning some new crafts this year, and a friend is going to be helping me, she even gave me a christmas gift to help me get started on one. I love to learn new skills!

  5. Following you on Facebook and Pinterest too! (I'm beginning to feel like a stalker – ROFL) No worries….I'm just lookin' for inspiration! Speaking of which, thanks for letting us know about the Cure for the Monday Blues challenges! Sounds like fun!

  6. Wow! Your new year card rocks! The gold embossing absolutely gorgeous and I love the expression on that sweet kitty! I adore the bandaid card and can see it used for many things to make someone feel better! I especially like how you offset the panel from the card base ~ very nice touch. New follower 🙂 Can't wait to see what's next! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. I hope 2015 is extra sweet to you!

  7. I am looking forward to creating more in 2015. (and hopefully doing better with my blog). I love your card….thanks so much for the tutorial, it was AWESOME! Happy New Year and thanks for the chance to win.

  8. You make beautiful cards. My crafting resolution is to use more of the products I already own (but given all the great things I keep seeing on this blog hop my wish list is growing

  9. And I just subscribed to your YouTube channel! I've been off work for health reasons, and I spend my time watching cardmaking videos… anywhere from a few minutes to several hours each day! Can you say addicted?! Lol!

  10. I've been wanting to buy pinflair! I've ordered twice in the last couple of months from Joanna Sheen and I keep forgetting to add it to my order! So glad to see how people use it, it makes me want it even more now. My goal for 2015 is to get better at sketching. I really love to sit and sketch, but I don't do it often enough.

  11. First of all, Happy Birthday early! My birthday is Jan. 4th so it is always fun to find others with an early January birthday. Stinks being so close to the holidays doesn't it? Thanks for the chance to win the goodies, but mainly thanks for all the inspiration.

  12. Happy Birthday on January 8th! Congratulations also on your appearances on the W & W site! Best wishes to you in 2015. I am hoping to find more time to craft and to get my craft room organized this year!

  13. Happy New Year. Gorgeous creations. I'm looking forward to having more time to craft in 2015 – whether this will actually happen is another thing but I'm hoping.

  14. I love the Newton Design Cat stamps and love how you used it in a new way. Great giveaway too. You're drawing on my birthday so maybe it might be a lovely surprise hehe. Happy 2015!
