Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:
Isn’t that dress just awesome?! And how about that headdress?!?! I may be just a little biased here as it was actually one of my friends who designed and created the headdresses for this collection! You can find all her pieces at Creations by Liv Free – stand by to be stunned!!
Here’s what I came up with:
I love how this turned out!!
I started with a panel of Pure White cardstock and stamped the trees from Mama Elephant’s Winter Wonderland using Kraft ink and Simon Says Stamp Smoke ink. I used second generation stamping too for some depth, then stamped the stag’s body with Kraft and SU! Soft Suede ink, with his antlers in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow die to create the snow with spritzes of Mister Huey’s in Calico Shine, then added the sentiments from Mama Elephant’s Merry Greetings set. I then added some hills cut from Pure Poppy and White Woodgrain cardstock die cut with the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio dies, adhering with Pinflair Glue Gel to finish!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
Thanks so much for joining me today and sharing in my excitement!! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
