Happy Monday! I know, I know, Mondays are tough. We all need a little tonic to help us get through the day. Luckily there’s a new challenge in town to help us do just that – the Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge!!
This is a challenge which I’ve created myself, yay me! Every Monday I will bring you a photo inspiration challenge, with images that focus on lifting us out of those Monday doldrums and all inspired to create!! I’ll be asking you to play along as well and linking up your creations! At the end of each week I’ll pick a Top 3 who’ll be my Cures For The Monday Blues and receive a special badge to add to your blog!!

So are you excited to get this week’s challenge under way?! Let’s see what’s up for this week’s inspiration:
I just love this modern peg-board wall with all those unexpected points of interest!! So much to take in and use for inspiration here, and I am totally in love with the crisp, modern colour palette!!
Here’s my take on the inspiration:
I really love how this turned out!!
I started with a Pure White card base and stamped it with the Hero Arts Tiny Ink Spots Background stamp using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I then die cut all my letters from Orange You Fabulous cardstock using the Mama Elephant Inline Letters dies. I adhered them to a piece of vellum using Glossy Accents. I used Julie Ebersole‘s trick of lining up the die-cut letters then adhering a piece of washi tape to them to lift them all up in place, applied my adhesive then simply pressed my strip back down! Perfect alignment every time! That Julie. She’s amazing. 🙂
I adhered a fancy peg (from a previous Studio Calico kit I believe, but I don’t know which I’m afraid) using Pinflair Glue Gel then simply clipped my vellum in! I love how you could swap out the vellum for another piece with a different sentiment that goes with the ‘thanks’ of the peg – re-usable and versatile!!
