It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *gorgeous* inspiration image for this challenge:
Ohmygosh!! This dress is AMAZING!! So much pattern and interest and colour and wow!!
The dress really spoke ‘graffiti’ to me. I really wanted to capture the mix of patterns and colours and came up with this:
Well, the last card I created for Runway didn’t leave me ‘excited’, although I was really happy that many of you seemed to like it! I have to say that I am totally swooning-gaga over this card!! I love it so so much!!!
I started with a Pure White card base – yep, that was a white card! I really wanted to create that busy graffiti look so I pulled out one of my all-time favourite stamp sets by Lil’ Inker Designs – Notebook Doodle!! Oh my, how I love this set! Pulling it out to play with was like seeing an old friend!
I stamped my entire card front with various stamps from the set using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I let it dry for a bit then I set about introducing all that wonderful colour! I blended Distress Inks in Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, and Spiced Marmalade, and my trusted Simon Says Stamp ink in Sea Glass.
I also used Distress Markers in various shades to colour in parts of the image and to add those red stitched lines!
Finally, the card needed a sentiment! I pulled out my new Lil’ Inker Designs Shiny Happy Sentiments set and stamped it with a mix of Versafine and Versamark, then heat embossed it with Filigree Black embossing powder. I still keep staring at my card now – it’s mesmerising!!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!

Wow, wow and wow! Your card is swoon-inducing (as is that dress!). I've not seen the Lil 'Inkers doodle stamp before (I know…under a rock!), but seeing it here, you've given me a pretty marvelous first impression! Another item added to the ever-expanding wish list! Artistic, fun, fresh, and totally super cool! Love it! I really should give this challenge a try one of these days…

Cool take on this T! I might try this challenge for the first time this round! I don't know why I haven't played yet.
