Hey everyone! And welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook January Release!
We have two *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
Today’s set is an adorable darling of a set called Sweetheart Tails! This set is top-to-tail with cute animal images that are sure to steal your heart!! Perfect for kids or grown up kids alike, and did I mention adorable sentiments too?!
I decided to focus on the fox image today. Foxes are totally still trending and I couldn’t wait to ink this cutie up:
What do you think? I so love how it turned out!
I stamped my fox twice onto Pure White cardtstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For the second fox I stamped onto acetate first then placed my cardstock on top of the acetate to transfer it as a mirror image! I drew over the lines to make them more prominent, then coloured both foxes with Copic Markers.
I used some Glitz patterned paper across the whole of my card front then blended some Distress inks and splattered some Calico Shine for my square panel. I adhered in place to give a sort of pink Polaroid effect – so fun! My foxes were adhered with Pinflair Glue Gel, as were the sweet little glittered hearts! The sentiment was too sweet not to use and those foxes nuzzling each other make me sigh happily each time!
Would you like to win Sweetheart Tails?
This set will be given away to Two lucky winners!
