Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!!
Today I’m sharing a card for the final Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge of the year!!
As it’s the last Sunday of the month this challenge is an Anything Goes challenge, which is as the name suggests – use any Paper Smooches stamps and/or dies in your creation!
I decided to pull out a couple of my other new sets – Enjoy The Show and Fresh Snow! Here’s what I came up with:
*squeal* Look how tiny and cute!!
I started by stamping the elephant from Enjoy The Show onto a folded panel of Stamper’s Select White cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed out to create a shaped card. I then stamped him again and trimmed him out in full and adhered to the front. Next I stamped him onto several patterned papers from the Studio Calico Printshop Collection, trimmed them out and adhered to create my teeny patterned elephant! I adhered some pieces with Pinflair Glue Gel for a little dimension.
I used a variety of Mama Elephant inks to stamp the balloon in a kind of ombre effect, then stamped part of the sentiment from Fresh Snow to make the sentiment, adding the exclamation mark by hand. I trimmed the balloon out, freehand drew a string and trimmed that out, then assembled all with a little Scor Tape and slipped between the layers of cardstock of the elephant’s trunk to keep it in place!
Because this challenge is an Anything Goes one, you really need to check out the rest of our Design Team today to see the amazing eye candy they’ve come up with:
Wanna play along? You really should!! All you need to do is create an entry using *any* Paper Smooches stamps/dies and link it up on the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog and you’re in! The challenge runs until 11:59pm PST on Saturday 4th January so you’ve got a little time to play along!! We can’t wait to see what you create!!
That’s it from me for today, but I would love it if you would leave some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
