Nordic Noel Tags – Variations on a Theme

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

Phew, I’ve been busy today! I finally sat down to mass produce my Christmas cards for this year! I got 50 done in a few hours in total, and it would have been much much quicker if I hadn’t included a heat embossing step in it! I’m really pleased with how well I’d done so far and will be making the other half of them tomorrow! I know people will get them late but hopefully they won’t mind too much. 🙂

So with my being so busy with all that, I hope you won’t mind if what I’m sharing today is a variation on a theme from yesterday’s post. 🙂

I really loved yesterday’s tag, and the colours I’d used! I decided to change up how the colours were used, and also to create a one-layer version instead, with no heat embossing (enough of that for one day!). Here’s what I came up with:

What do you think? I do love this one too, but not sure I can pick a favourite!

I created my tag from a piece of Pure White cardstock this time, and added a tag reinforcer created with the Embellished Tag die, cutting the circle from Pressed Greige Linen cardstock and punching a hole in it. I stamped the wreath from WPlus9’s Woodland Wreaths using I Steel Got It and Pressed Greige Linen inks for the branches part, and a mix of Mama Elephant ink in Winter and Versamagix Aquatic Splash inks for the fuller part. I stamped the berries using Mama Elephant’s inks in Apple and Hazel to temper the colour then added some Viva Paint Pen in Deep Carmine for my berries.

No banner this time, but I still used the sentiment from PTI’s Instant Photo: Holidays set , stamping with I Steel Got It ink overstamped with Smokey Shadow ink., and added the shading stamp using my Mama Elephant Apple and Hazel inks again.

I finished with some Divine Twine and I was all done!

Well that’s it from me today but I do hope you’ll join me again tomorrow! Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
