Couture Christmas – Collection 3

By Taheerah | 3rd November 2013 | 7 Comments

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

Today I’m bringing you the third in a mini series that I started a little while ago! I am very excited to present Couture Christmas!!

Some of you who follow my blog may remember me saying I planned to create Christmas cards this year and actually send them out to people! I started designing cards the other weekend and found that what I was creating was closer to a boutique stationery collection, in my opinion at least! Some of these are so lush I don’t want to send them out – but I will!!

There will probably be around 5 collections I will bring you, one a week, and covering a range of styles of cards, from graphic/modern, to cutesy, to traditional/solemn, to vintage, to just plain extravagant! I can hardly wait!!

Each collection will be a limited run of exclusive designs, and will be beautifully packaged and presented. I’m still working on concepting the packaging part, but it will be stunning!!

Ready to see more?! Let’s get started, shall we?!

Presenting… Collection 3:

Couture Christmas: Collection 3 – Graffiti Merry & Bright
Couture Christmas: Collection 3 – Graffiti Merry & Bright
Limited Run of 25
Presented and packaged in black envelopes
Style: Graphic/Modern

Very different from the last two collections huh?! I told you you needed to keep tuning in!!

I wanted to create something modern and funky that could appeal to male or female, and hopefully cover a range of ages too!

Here’s a closer look:

The creation of this card is pretty easy and self-explanatory! I used the Handwritten Capitals Large set from Ali Edwards/Technique Tuesday and stamped the ‘Merry’ with SU! ink in Real Red, and the ‘Bright’ in PTI New Leaf and Hero Arts Forever Green inks onto my Stamper’s Select White card base. I need an SU! ink in green really, must sort that out!

After the words were done I stamped the ampersand using Memento Luxe ink in Tuxedo Black and that was me done!

I am planning a limited run of 25 for this collection – the stamping is pretty quick and not too fussy so there’ll be quite a few people getting one of these!! Definitely has mass-produced potential!

So I’m dying to know what you all think so far!! Each one of the collections will be completely different so I do hope you’ll keep tuning in to see them each week!!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

    1. Thanks so much jintyoo7!! 🙂 I tend to stamp my letters one by one. With this set you could line them all up on one block, but I like to have full control of the spacing between each character. I'm kinda anal like that. *wink*
