Make A Wish

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Although I’ve been sharing a few Christmas cards lately I’m not done with Autumn yet! *wink* Today’s card takes me right to thoughts of the changing colours of the leaves, the slight chill in the wind, and the transition that is on its way:

What do you think? I really love how this turned out!

I started with a Rustic White card base. I die cut a mask using the Chloe Stem die from Memory Box, adhered it temporarily to the card front and spritzed with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists in Bronzer, Chartreuse, Georgia Peach and Mustard. Doesn’t it look like it’s blowing in the wind?!

I wanted something bold to contrast with all the colour and the delicate flower so I added a strip of cardstock with the sentiment stamped from Kelly Purkey’s Make A Wish set. I heat embossed it onto Rustic White cardstock using WOW! Clear Semi Dull embossing powder then inked the strip with Memento Luxe ink in Espresso Truffle.

I wiped the excess ink off the sentiment then ironed it between a few sheets of paper to remove the embossing powder before adhering to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I think this card has such a whimsical feel!

I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
