Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!!
It’s been such an exhausting week already that I don’t have a new card for you today. 🙁 Instead I have another publication reject instead – yay for emergency options!
This one was inspired by a brand of chocolate in the UK called Green & Black’s. They are very good and very yummy. Here is the packaging of their milk chocolate bar:
And here is what the inspiration led to:
What do you think? A very literal interpretation I know but I love it!
I started with a Blueberry Sky card base and stamped the sentiment from Stylish Sentiments: Holiday and the price circle from Garden Variety using Versamark ink then heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. I then stamped the mistletoe from Mistletoe & Holly and the smaller sentiment from part of one of the stamps from Stylish Sentiments: Holiday using just Versamark for a tone-on-tone look.
Finally to finish off I took a strip of Dark Chocolate cardstock and heat embossed another sentiment then adhered that to the base using Scor-Tape. Now if only I could eat the finished result, lol!
I’m hoping to get some energy to create a new card soon but in the meantime I would love to hear what you think of this one! Thanks so much for stopping by!

What a great idea for your inspiration! I'm selfishly glad it wasn't published so we can see what it was based off of! Who would have thought to use blueberry with brown and gold?

This is one of the best cards of yours EVER. I adore it to bits, especially how well you interpreted the inspiration. So, SO cool 😀
I LOVE it too! Cool.
I also love it and particularly love the idea of the large holly underneath the sentiment. Got me thinking!
