Uniko Studio August 2013 Release – Introducing Graphic Flower Dies

By Taheerah | 10th August 2013 | 15 Comments

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!!

Please excuse me for my late posting. I have not been able to craft due to some pain, but I just had to make sure I still got in on the Uniko Studio Release introductions fun!

Today I’m featuring an awesome die collection called the Graphic Flower dies!!

Not only is this die set a great all rounder for flower shapes and to use standalone – it also co-ordinates perfectly with some of the images from the previously released Time stamp set too!

I decided to let the dies do all the talking today:

I’m pleased with how this turned out! Very delicate and pretty – and inspired by the style of my teamie Aimes!!

I started with a panel of Rustic White cardstock and die cut the spiral flower from it. I then stamped the sentiment from Flower Power #3 onto it using SU! Blushing Bride ink.

I then prepared my card base with a little masking at the edges before stamping one of the stamps from Background Builders: Flower Power (also being released this month!) with SU! Pool Party ink, stamping off once first. I removed my mask then adhered my panel and the spiral part of the die cut (minus its cut out pieces) onto my base using Pinflair Glue Gel and I was all done!

So what do you think? Are you in love big time?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!

I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope to see you again tomorrow for the Release Day Blog Hop!!

  1. Wow, what a fab way to use the dies and background builder. I love this. I also love how its mainly white with a couple of pastels, great card 🙂 x

  2. Such a pretty little card – love that pattern peeking behind the flower!
So honoured and touched to think that I helped inspire such a beauty! ;D
    Hugs!

  3. Oh, I hope you're feeling better soon!! Having pain is bad, but not being able to craft … torture! Love your white beauty here. Having to peek inside to see the pattern is so engaging!
