Tuesday Trigger – It’s Completely Collagical

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

I decided I wanted to create for the latest Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger after seeing this truly gorgeous inspiration photo:

Stunning huh?! I was so inspired by the collage-look and the colours. I decided I wanted to create something that evoked all these things but keep it to one layer. Challenge extended!

What do you think? I love how this turned out!!

I started with a Rustic White card base and masked off the sides with some torn washi tape. I then blended some inks to create the torn page look. I used Palette Haystack, Kraft and VintageTouch Tea Dye Duo inks. I then masked off some small areas and blended some Kraft ink to create the look of washi tape holding the paper down.

I then started building my images up. I used stamps from PTI’s Postmarks, Simply Jane and Just The Ticket and My Mind’s Eye Find Your Wings and Fly sets, and used Kraft ink and SU! Pool Party, Strawberry Slush and Blushing Bride inks for the images in the top corner.

In the bottom corner I used images from PTI’s Cutting Garden, Fancy Flourishes, Iconic Images and Background Basics: Retro, the My Mind’s Eye sets mentioned before and used the same inks mentioned before, along with SU! Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight and Pistachio Pudding inks. I overstamped in some places, top and bottom, with Delightful Doilies and Iconic Images using WPlus9’s White Pigment ink. I then added the banner from one of the My Mind’s Eye sets and the partial sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Lights Out set using Soft Suede ink. Lots of work but I think it was all worth it!

Well I have to be heading off, still quite a few things to do to round off the weekend! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Hey Taheerah! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! 🙂

  2. You are right, lots of work, but totally worth it. Your card is amazing! It looks like a collage dimmed by time, but it's all stamped… fantastic!
