Hey everyone! I hope your Monday has been fun!
I simply *had* to get the So Sweet set from Clearly Besotted Stamps! It was love at first sight!! I *love* the ice-cream you get from ice-cream vans and this set just made me so happy!! I ordered it on release night and couldn’t wait to ink it up:
What do you think? I am so loving this!!
I started with a piece of Stamper’s Select White cardstock. I stamped the ice-cream using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Seafoam White embossing powder. I then tapped WPlus9’s White Pigment ink all over it. White ink on white looks more off-white and in fact just the same colour as the ice-cream!
I stamped the flake using SU! Baked Brown Sugar ink and stamped the cone using a mix of Finen Linen and VintageTouch Chai inks I trimmed out all my pieces and assembled using Pinflair Glue Gel.
Next came the base! I stamped the dots from Polka Dot Basics I using SU! Blushing Bride and Pool Party inks, and PTI’s Lemon Tart ink (all stamped off). Next I die cut the ticket from Sweet Blush cardstock using the Just The Ticket Border Die and stamped it with various image from Just The Ticket. I affixed it and some pom pom trim to the base using my Tiny Attacher.
I added some dotted lines from Just The Ticket, and some stars from Lawn Fawn’s Lucky Stars and Blue Skies sets using Versafine Onyx Black ink, and finally adhered my ice-cream to my base using Pinflair before sprinkling on some Studio Calico Neon Sequins (unable to link up as this limited edition item is now sold out, sob!). This card is sweet enough to eat!!
Well I’m afraid I have to scoot for now, but wanted to thank you all for the sweet comments you left on my Uniko Studio release projects, particularly the well-wishes for my pain I’ve been experiencing. I so appreciate any love you choose to leave, it means so much! I would love it if you left some love for this creation before you head on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
