Indulge Yourself

Hey everyone! I hope this Monday is treating you well!

I’m bringing you another card today featuring some new Avery Elle goodies! I’ve used Simply Tags: Everyday again, but this time I’ve used the co-ordinating dies and the Texture Tiles: Be Cool set too!

What do you think? French Chic right?!

I started by die-cutting my tag from Stamper’s Select White cardstock using the Simply Tags: Every dies, then stamped with the stripes from Texture Tiles: Be Cool using A:Muse inks in Shell and Blush. The stripes in pale pink looked very Parisian Chic to me and that’s what inspired the rest of the card!

I stamped the macaron from the Bonjour set using Versamagic Aquatic Splash ink, once with the back of the outline stamp (to get an overall colour for the centre) and again with the right side of the solid stamp to get my finished look. I also stamped the little bow using Smokey Shadow (old formula) ink. I trimmed both out and adhered to the tag using Pinflair Glue Gel.

Next I went to work on my Stamper’s Select White card base. I used the reverse of one of the stamps from Neat & Tangled’s On The Strip 2 set and stamped it with a mix of Pressed Greige Linen ink and Smokey Shadow ink. I adhered the tag to the base using Pinflair.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Clear And Simple Stamps’ Sweet Sentiments set, trimmed out and adhered to the tag and to the base, and adhered some sequins to accent. And I was all done!

Well, things are *crazy* busy for me round here today! I’m busy creating for the Uniko Studio Release (Introductory post from tomorrow – you don’t want to miss them, seriously!) – and StampSpotlight is back tomorrow as well!! So I’ll be sneaking you a peek a little later today!! Add to that creating publication submissions too and it is going to be one CRAZY week!!!

I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way. Please remember to check back for the StampSpotlight Sneaky Sneak Peek, and tomorrow for my DT and StampSpotlight posts! Thanks so much for stopping by!
