TARDIS Companion Card

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

So, first of all, if you missed Friday’s awesome Matrix card, go check it out! 🙂

So, my boss left work on Friday. What I didn’t mention in my Friday post is that we are also really close friends, so I am really going to feel his absence and miss him a lot. 🙁 So anyways, as part of my personal leaving gift I gave him this:

I really love how this turned out. Touches the geeky side but also a really poignant reference and message too.

I started with a Pressed Greige Linen card base. I created my own TARDIS stamp by carving it into Fun Foam and stamped it with SU! Not Quite Navy ink. I added some inking to the card base too.

I hand wrote the sentiment using an Uni-ball Signo white gel pen (the *best* one out there – get it now!). A handwritten sentiment just felt more in keeping with the card and the personal nature of it all. If you can’t read my writing then it says ‘It’s always tough saying goodbye to a Companion’.

Right, well I had best get out of here before I get emotional or something! I’ll be back with a more ‘normal’ post after three days of personal cards! I would love if you left some love though before you head on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  1. so I didn't know what a Tardis was and had to look it up. And wow…I couldn't have known that you carved the stamp yourself!!! It is perfect, just the right effect of hand craftiness 🙂 The white sentiment on gray looks great!
