It’s my week off from DT work, so I thought I’d bring you an older Gel-à-Tins project featuring the Sweet Cakes set! It’s no secret that I have a sweet spot for cupcakes and cupcake stamp sets – and this set is no exception! I just love the mix ‘n’ match options for the cupcake frosting and the little extra images too!
I wanted to create a quick little gift tag and this one came together pretty quickly:

I started by stamping the cupcake frosting and wrapper onto Dear Lizzy Neapolitan patterned paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed them out. I sprayed the frosting with spray adhesive and coated with some Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter before adhering the frosting to the case using Pinflair Glue Gel.
I then die cut a tag from Stamper’s Select White Cardstock using the Tag Sale #6 die and stamped it repeatedly with the cherries stamp using Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold and Aqua Mist inks to create a fun background. I added the hole reinforcer, die cut from a Aqua Mist cardstock, and some Divine Twine twine. Finally I added the sentiment from Fruit Fusion: Cherries using Versafine ink, adhered my cupcake with Pinflair Glue Gel and I was done!
