25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day Three!

By Taheerah | 3rd December 2012 | 4 Comments

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Day 3!!

Today’s card is a little less CAS, a little more glitz!

Pretty, no?

I started with a Vintage Cream card base and adhered a
lovely piece of patterned paper from Glitz Designs. I roughed up the edges of the patterned paper with a distressing tool and inked it with VintageTouch Chamomile ink to help it stand out first.

I then stamped some additional
postage elements from PTI’s Postmarks and 2010 Holiday Tags using Fine Linen ink to add some extra interest to the background.

I die cut the tree from Sweet Blush cardstock using the In
The Meadow dies
and coated it with Martha Stewart crystal fine glitter and sprayed
with a little Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls spray, before inking the edges with Chamomile ink.

The banner is cut from Aqua
Mist pattern pack paper
using the Double-Ended Banners die and stamped with the sentiment
from Christmas Blessings. I adhered the tree and banner using Pinflair Glue
gel
.

All that was left was to add the sentiment from Stylish
Sentiments: Holiday
using Palette Haystack ink and I was done!

I hope you’re enjoying all the cards I’ve been showcasing so far! I’ll see you back here for Day 4!
