25 Days of Christmas Cards – Day Five!

By Taheerah | 5th December 2012 | 2 Comments

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 5!

Today’s card is quite a sophisticated one, I like to think!

What do you think? I love black and gold – so classy!

I started with a True Black card base and sprayed it with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold spray. Just the right hint of colour and sparkle, but with a vintagey feel – love it!

I die-cut the tree from Fine Linen cardstock using the Tree Trimming Trio die before spraying it with gold spray paint. I stamped the lights strings from Holiday Lights using Versamrak ink and heat embossed them with black embossing powder before adhered the black rhinestones in place, then finally spraying with Heirloom Gold spray again.

I stamped the star from Tree Trimming Trio onto True Black cardstock and then trimmed it out, before spraying with Heirloom Gold as before. I carefully adhered the star to the tree using Pinflair Glue Gel and then the tree to the base using the same. Finally I stamped the sentiment, from Peace Be Still, using Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

I hope you’re liking the creations so far! Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you on Day 6!
