Hey everyone!
I’m back today with another post! This card is for my wonderful friend and mentor Lynn. Lynn helped me so much with advice, confidence, friendship, support and so much else when I was applying for and succeeded in getting my new job. She will never know just how much I’ve learned from her!
I started with a piece of In Bloom patterned paper in the Orange Zest and stamped one of the designs from Damask Designs on it using Dark Chocolate ink then tapped my Orange Zest inkpad over it in areas to lessen the contrast. I then adhered a strip of Dark Chocolate cardstock to the bottom which had been cut with the Large Scalloped Die. I added a Vintage Cream grosgrain ribbon bow at the join. I then stamped the sentiment from Big & Bold Wishes on Vintage Cream cardstock using Dark Chocolate ink and adhered with Pinflair Glue Gel before adhering the panel to a Berry Sorbet cardstock base using a tape runner.
Inside the card I carried on the theme by stamping the small matching image from Damask Designs using Versamark ink and stamping a sentiment from Inside & Out: Thank You using Dark Chocolate ink.

Taheerah, I love the panel with Damask Designs! How brave of you to stamp on patterned paper. 🙂 I'm going to have to give that a try because it looks so good here!

OH my! This is goreous! I love this color combo! The brown and the pink is fabulous! And Damask is one of my all time favs! I mgiht have to go get it out now too! Thanks for the inspiration!
