Today I’m bring you a fun mini card featuring the Gel-Ã -Tins Shifting Gears and Take Me To Your Leader stamp sets. These stamps sing to my geeky heart!!
I really wanted to create a cute boy-themed card with these sets, and the space theme from Take Me To Your Leader led me to this:
To finish up the design and take it into subspace I sprayed and splattered the card with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine mists in Black Velvet and Tropicana Teal (splattered on) to boot then wiped off the excess from the embossed images. I love this quick and easy emboss resist technique, and the results really look like a space scene!

A fabulously quirky card!! My favorite parts are the bits of blue in your black ink background … what crazy dimension and interest this gives!! I'm liking the square format every now and then too. So smart to curve your sentiment!! : )
