Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! And welcome back to Introductory posts for the Uniko Studio December Release!! Today is the final day of introductions – Release Day is tomorrow!!!
This month’s release is dedicated to that crazy lil’ thing called love!! And today I’m helping to introduce a total sweetheart of a set – Always & Forever!
This set has two awesome larger hearts with fantastic designs, a smaller outline heart and lots of cute little companion sentiments!!
I focused on one of the big heart images. I have been enjoying creating non-card projects over the last couple of days and so ended up making this tag:
I love the soft vintage feel of this – with just the right pop of modern too!!
And it figures that if we’re embracing ‘love’ with this release that I featured some of my ‘crafting loves’ – gold, sequins, and pops of pink. 🙂
I started by die-cutting the tag from Vintage Cream cardstock using the Tag Sale #7 die and spritzing it with Perfect Pearls Mist in Heirloom Gold, then splattering on some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in Coral. I think this is my most favourite colour mist yet! 🙂
I stamped the heart onto Pure White cardstock using another love – Mama Elephant ink in Bubblegum. 🙂 I trimmed out the heart and distressed it with some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo – love the colour that resulted! I also inked the edges of the tag, then adhered some balled-up May Arts Twine – loving that new gold one!! I adhered the heart in place using Pinflair Glue Gel then added some sequins as a finishing touch!
