Today I’m so excited to be joining in with the folks at Clearly Besotted Stamps for their May release! I have been waiting for *ages* for Steph to ask me to join in as a Guest Designer and was starting to think she’d never ask, lol!
For today’s card I decided to play with the fun Let’s Party set:
This set is so much fun! The balloons are solid but I decided to play with some Distress Inks to get that watercoloured look!
I inked the balloons concentrating round the edges, misted with water then stamped on my cardstock, then used a wet paintbrush to drag the colour in to fill the images.
Once dry I added some splatter then stamped the balloon strings and sentiment. I added a few sequins to complete everything. This card is ready to party!

Love this, Taheerah. I love the soft colours. Funnily enough, I have used the same technique with this set too, but with rather different look (sharing later in the week) I love yours!
