City Smoke

Hey – I’m, having a giveaway! Click here for more details!

Hey everyone! How was your Christmas Day? I hope you’re still enjoying some post-Christmas joy!

Today I’ve a small card featuring PTI’s City Scene set. I totally loved this set at first sight but had to wait a few months to get it! Of course by the time it arrived my mojo for it had all dried up lol. Still I was able to put this kooky little number together. 🙂

What do you think? I’m not sure but I think I like it. 🙂

I started with a Blue Shimmer card base and rubbed my Mama Elephant Smoke inkpad over it to add some colour but keep that sheen. I then splattered Mister Huey’s in Calico Shine, and Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in White over it.

Next, the buildings! I stamped the buildings onto Pure White cardstock using Mama Elephant inks in Smoke and Sunshine. I trimmed them out, not being too particular about the border widths (kooky remember 🙂 ) then adhered them to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel. Same with the moon.

I finished up by stamping the sentiment from one of the Mama Elephant set that came with the Studio Calico Blue Note Card Kit, using Versafine Onyx Black ink. And done!

That’s it from me for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow as normal. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you would leave some love before you head on your way!

  1. Superb card- really love that sentiment too! The background is fab! I've shied away from Pinflair as don't like the syringe dispenser but do get fed up of peeling off the 3D foam tops!!

    1. Thanks Tyra! Yes it is – it's clear and odourless, and you dispense it via syringe usually so you can control the flow and get custom dimension for everything! Plus it is *strong*. I've had a couple of questions about it recently so I might do a little product review of it in the New Year! 🙂
